From April 24 to 26, WSL members attended the 2026 Korea Science Festival held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi. This event provided an opportunity to directly introduce the public to practical technologies that will become a core part of next-generation communication systems, while also sharing the technological possibilities of the future.

Real-time Bistatic mmWave ISAC Testbed: WSL showcased a stable, cable-free wireless OTA synchronization and beam switching mechanism that enables radar-like sensing. By utilizing adaptive beam management that uses real-time environment perception for communication beam alignment, they demonstrated the practical feasibility of an integrated sensing and communication platform in real-world environments.

AI-based Beam Tracking using Digital Twin: Using the NVIDIA Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin, WSL simulated a 28 GHz beam tracking test scenario on a 3D map of the Hanyang University campus. By combining partial beam sweeping with an AI position correction algorithm, they presented an alternative that significantly reduces communication overhead while maintaining a seamless ultra-high-speed link.
