The 2026 Winter Conference of the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES) was held from February 25 to 28 at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Jeju, South Korea, bringing together researchers in electromagnetics and wireless communications to exchange recent research findings and discuss emerging trends in the field.
Members of WSL presented research covering topics such as UAV swarm beamforming and placement optimization, 6G antenna design, and computational electromagnetics. In particular, Ph.D. candidate Seongkwon Yoon and M.S. student Seyeon Lee delivered presentations in the Hanwha Special Session, while other members also presented their work throughout the conference.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for WSL members to share their latest research, receive feedback, and engage with fellow researchers and experts from academia and industry.
