From July 7 to 10, members of WSL attended the 17th International Conference on Ubiquitous and Future Networks (ICUFN 2026), held in Milan, Italy, to share the lab’s latest research.
At the conference, Professor Sunwoo Kim served as General Chair and chaired Workshop W17, “Beyond-G Networks: AI-Native RAN and Intelligent ISAC.” Six papers from WSL were presented at the workshop, showcasing the lab’s broad range of research topics, from AI-native RAN to intelligent ISAC.
The papers presented at the W17 workshop covered an isolation-enhanced shared-radiator antenna that enables wide-angle beam scanning for IBFD-based 6G communications; joint acquisition and satellite identification with search-space reduction in opportunistic LEO-PNT; double-layer DSO-based joint positioning and beam synthesis for UAV swarms; geometry-guided self-supervised learning for label-free 3D indoor radio sensing; ML-based multi-BS beam tracking and positioning using a digital twin; and a Bluestein-based DAFT implementation on an FPGA for AFDM modulation.
