Prof. Tony Q. S. Quek from Singapore University of Technology and Design visited Wireless Systems Lab at Hanyang University and gave a lecture entitled "5G - Massive, Ultra-Dense, Delay, and Computing". The abstract of the seminar is as follows:

Abstract

With 4G cellular technologies now beginning to be deployed widely around the world, the fifth generation (5G)mobile and wireless communication technologies are emerging into research fields. New services, applications and devices will drive requirements on data rate, ubiquity of data services, latency, cos, and reliability and further drive data traffic growth. To meet the above challenges in 5G, new technologies have been developed and investigated all around the world. In this talk, we will discuss some recent work that help to enhance our understanding of 5G systems, especially related to massive MIMO, ultra-dense deployment, delay analysis, and edge computing.
