Azharul Islam
Postdoctoral Researcher
Azharul Islam received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) from the American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2015 and his M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering (EE) from Inha University, South Korea, in 2021.
He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Inha University, South Korea, in 2025. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, where he is working on AI-driven radio access network (AI-RAN) optimization.
From 2019 to 2025, he was a Research Assistant at the Mobile Telecommunication Research Lab (MTRL), Inha University. His research interests include AI-RAN, 5G and beyond wireless networks, semantic communication, heterogeneous wireless systems, artificial intelligence-driven network optimization, resource allocation, and vehicular communication networks.
